Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the center of Hue, head towards Tran Hung Dao Street. Walk along Tran Hung Dao Street until you reach the intersection with Le Loi Street. Turn left onto Le Loi Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Dinh Tien Hoang Street. Turn right onto Dinh Tien Hoang Street and follow it until you see the sign for Thuy Xuan area. Continue straight, and you will arrive at 8 Doan Nhu Hai where Luu Khiem Lake is located.

• Cyclo

  Hire a cyclo (a three-wheeled bicycle taxi) from any central location in Hue. Tell the driver to take you to Luu Khiem Lake at 8 Doan Nhu Hai in Thuy Xuan. The cyclo drivers are usually familiar with popular tourist attractions, so they should know how to get you there. Enjoy the ride and the scenery along the way.

• Bicycle

  You can rent a bicycle from local rental shops in Hue. Start from the city center and head towards Tran Hung Dao Street. Follow the same route mentioned for walking; go along Tran Hung Dao Street, turn left onto Le Loi Street, then right onto Dinh Tien Hoang Street. Continue straight towards the Thuy Xuan area, and you will arrive at Luu Khiem Lake.

• Motorbike

  If you are comfortable riding a motorbike, you can rent one from various rental shops in Hue. Start from the city center, then ride towards Tran Hung Dao Street. Turn left onto Le Loi Street, and then right onto Dinh Tien Hoang Street. Keep going straight to reach the Thuy Xuan area. Follow the signs to 8 Doan Nhu Hai, where Luu Khiem Lake is located.
