Getting There

• Public Bus

  From any location in Mui Ne, head to the nearest bus stop. Look for a bus heading towards Phan Thiết. You can ask locals for the bus number, which is typically number 1 or 7. The bus fare is very affordable, usually around 20,000 to 30,000 VND. Once on the bus, stay on for about 20-30 minutes until you reach the Hòn Rơm area. The bus will stop at a main junction, so be sure to keep an eye out for signs or ask the bus driver to notify you when you reach Hòn Rơm.

• Motorbike Taxi (Grab or Local)

  If you prefer a quicker option, you can use a motorbike taxi service like Grab. Open the app and set your destination to Hòn Rơm. The ride will typically take around 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. You can also find local motorbike taxis (xe ôm) around Mui Ne. Just negotiate the fare beforehand, which should be around 50,000 to 100,000 VND.

• Bicycle Rental

  For those who enjoy cycling, consider renting a bicycle. Many hotels and local shops offer rentals. Start from your accommodation and head east towards the coast. Follow the beachfront road which will take you directly to Hòn Rơm. The ride is scenic and should take about 30-45 minutes, depending on your pace. Make sure to bring water and sun protection.

• Walking

  If you're up for an adventure, you can walk to Hòn Rơm. Begin at the central area of Mui Ne and walk along the coast. The walk is approximately 5 kilometers and will take about an hour. Follow the beach path and enjoy the view as you make your way to Hòn Rơm. Be mindful of the sun, and wear comfortable walking shoes.
