From Nha Trang Cathedral, walk towards the beachfront (around 1.5 kilometers). Once you reach the beach, look for local boat operators near the pier, usually in the area around Tran Phu Street. You can ask for a boat to Monkey Island. The boat ride will take approximately 30 minutes and costs around 200,000 VND per person. Be sure to confirm the departure times and return schedule with the boat operator.

Motorbike Taxi
You can also use a motorbike taxi (xe ôm) to reach the nearest pier that offers boats to Monkey Island. From Nha Trang Cathedral, you can ask a local for the nearest pier or use a ride-hailing app like Grab. The ride will be about 10-15 minutes and will cost approximately 30,000 to 50,000 VND depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the pier, purchase your boat ticket to Monkey Island.

Take a local bus (Bus number 4) from a nearby bus stop to Vinh Luong, which is close to Monkey Island. From Nha Trang Cathedral, walk to the nearest bus stop (about 500 meters). The bus ride will take around 30 minutes and costs about 10,000 VND. Once you get off at Vinh Luong, you will need to walk to the pier to catch a boat to Monkey Island.
