Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Lai Châu city center. Head northwest on Lê Duẩn street towards Nậm Loỏng. Continue straight for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the junction with Bế Văn Đàn street. Turn left and follow the signs for the Pu Sam Cap Caves. After about 3 kilometers, you will arrive at the caves. Make sure to check local road conditions before you depart, as rural roads can fluctuate in quality.
Public Transportation
To reach Pu Sam Cap Caves via public transport, first take a bus from Lai Châu bus station to Nậm Loỏng. The bus ride typically takes about 30 minutes and costs around 20,000 VND. Once you arrive in Nậm Loỏng, you may need to take a motorbike taxi (xe ôm) or a local taxi to reach the caves, which is approximately a 10-minute ride. Expect to pay around 30,000 to 50,000 VND for the motorbike taxi.
Motorbike
If you prefer to rent a motorbike, you can do so in Lai Châu city. After renting, head northwest towards Nậm Loỏng. The route is roughly 13 kilometers. Follow the same directions as indicated for cars, keeping in mind to stay cautious of local traffic and road conditions. Ensure to wear a helmet and carry your driver's license. Rental prices for motorbikes generally range from 100,000 to 200,000 VND per day.
