Getting There

Walking
From the center of Sapa, head south on Thạch Sơn Street towards the Sapa Culture Center. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the junction at the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Lê Văn Tám Street and keep walking for another 200 meters. You will see a sign for 'Lào Cai' pointing to the left. Turn left and walk along the road for approximately 2 kilometers. Keep an eye out for local shops and eateries as you walk. Once you reach the border area, look for signage towards 'Đền Mẫu', which will be on your right.

Motorbike rental
Rent a motorbike from one of the rental shops in Sapa. After renting, head south on Thạch Sơn Street towards the Sapa Culture Center. Take a left onto Lê Văn Tám Street, and follow it until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit towards Lào Cai. Continue straight for about 2 kilometers. Watch for signs directing you to 'Đền Mẫu' on your right. The temple is located close to the Vietnam-China border, and there should be ample parking available.
