Getting there

Trekking

From Sapa town center, head towards the Sapa Market. At the market, look for the signs pointing towards the 'Lao Chai' or 'Ta Van' villages. Follow the trail that leads into the lush rice terraces. Keep walking for about 3-4 kilometers until you reach a fork in the path. Take the left path towards 'Sơn Bình'. Continue on this path for another 2 kilometers until you see a sign for Love Waterfall. The waterfall is located a short walk from the main path, about 500 meters downhill.

Motorbike Taxi

To get to Love Waterfall from Sapa, you can hire a motorbike taxi (xe ôm). Start from Sapa's church, which is a central landmark. Tell the driver you want to go to 'Thác Tình Yêu' (Love Waterfall). The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. The driver will take you along the main road towards Tam Đường District. You may want to confirm the price before starting your journey.

Local Bus

From Sapa, walk to the bus station located near the town center. Look for a bus heading to Lai Châu. Get on the bus and tell the driver you want to stop at Love Waterfall. This bus trip will take about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the designated stop, you will need to walk approximately 1 kilometer downhill to reach the waterfall.

Guided Tour

Consider joining a guided trekking tour offered by various agencies in Sapa. Many tours include Love Waterfall in their itinerary. You can book a tour at one of the local travel agencies in the town center. On the day of the tour, you will be picked up from your accommodation and taken to the waterfall along with a group.
