Walking
From the center of Sapa, head towards Muong Hoa Valley. Start on Muong Hoa Street, which is the main road leading out of Sapa. Walk for about 2 kilometers until you reach the Muong Hoa River. Continue past the river until you see the signs for Ta Van Village. Follow the signs and take the path leading down to Ta Van. The trek will take approximately 1 hour.
Trekking
If you prefer a more scenic route, you can take a trekking path. Begin at the Sapa Church and follow the trail along the rice terraces. This route is well marked and offers stunning views of the valley. It takes about 1.5 to 2 hours to reach Ta Van Valley View from the church. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water.
Local Transport (Motorbike Taxi)
For a quicker option, you can hire a local motorbike taxi (xe ôm). From Sapa, ask the driver to take you to Ta Van Valley View. They are familiar with the area and will navigate the roads for you. The ride will take around 30 minutes, and you can enjoy the scenery along the way. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey.
