Getting There

• Walking

  If you are staying in Vung Tau, a popular starting point is the Vung Tau Ferry Terminal. From there, head southeast on Tran Phu Street towards the beach. Continue walking along the beachfront promenade until you reach the intersection with Le Hong Phong Street. Turn left onto Le Hong Phong Street, and then take a right onto Hoang Hoa Tham Street. Follow Hoang Hoa Tham until you arrive at the base of the mountain where the Jesus Christ Statue is located. From here, you will see signs leading you to the statue, which is about a 20-minute uphill walk.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  To reach the Jesus Christ Statue via public transport, find a local bus that connects to the Vung Tau city center. Look for buses heading towards the 'Bà Rịa' area. Get off at the 'Bà Rịa' stop and transfer to a local bus or a motorbike taxi that goes to the statue. Inform the driver that you want to go to the 'Jesus Christ Statue' (Tượng Chúa Kitô) to ensure you are taken to the right location. The bus journey will take around 30 minutes, and from the drop-off point, it is a short walk up to the statue.

• Taxi or Ride-Hailing Service

  For a more comfortable option, you can use a taxi or a ride-hailing service like Grab. Simply input 'Jesus Christ Statue, Vung Tau' as your destination. The driver will take you as close to the statue as possible. Once you arrive, you may have to walk a short distance uphill to reach the statue itself. This option is convenient, especially if you are traveling with luggage or in a group.
