Metro
From your location in Arlington, head to the nearest Metro station, which could be either the Crystal City or Pentagon City station depending on your proximity. Take the Yellow Line towards Greenbelt. Transfer at the Gallery Place-Chinatown station to the Red Line. Board the Red Line train heading towards Glenmont. Get off at the Union Station stop. From Union Station, exit onto Massachusetts Avenue NW and walk towards the National Gallery of Art. Then, head southwest on Pennsylvania Ave NW and continue onto 14th St NW. Turn right onto Elm St, and you will arrive at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza.

Check the nearest bus stop in Arlington, and take the Metrobus line that heads towards the Pentagon. From there, transfer to the DC Circulator bus at the Pentagon City stop. Take the Circulator towards the National Mall and get off at the 'National Archives' stop. Walk along 14th St NW and turn right onto Elm St. Follow Elm St to arrive at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza.

If you are close enough to the Rosslyn area, start walking towards the Key Bridge. Cross the Key Bridge into Georgetown, and follow M St NW until you reach 14th St NW. Continue walking north on 14th St NW and turn right onto Elm St. Keep walking until you reach The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza. This walk is scenic and will take you through some beautiful parts of the city.
