Metro
If you are near any Metro station in Arlington, take the Orange Line towards New Carrollton. Disembark at the Ballston-MU Metro Station. After exiting the station, head northeast on North Stuart Street towards Wilson Boulevard. Continue walking for about 5 minutes and you will see the Ballston Historical Marker on your right at the intersection of Wilson Boulevard and North Stuart Street.
Bus
Check for any local bus routes that serve the Ballston area. The Metrobus routes such as the 1A or 1B can take you to the Ballston area. Board the bus at your nearest stop, and request to get off at the Ballston area or the Ballston-MU Metro Station. From there, walk northeast on North Stuart Street towards Wilson Boulevard for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at the Ballston Historical Marker.
Walking
If you are close to Virginia Square or any nearby neighborhood, you can walk directly to the Ballston Historical Marker. Head towards Wilson Boulevard and walk northeast. The marker is located at the intersection of Wilson Boulevard and North Stuart Street. It's approximately a 10-15 minute walk depending on your starting point.
Biking
For those who prefer biking, you can rent a Capital Bikeshare bike from any nearby station and head towards Ballston. Follow the bike lanes on Wilson Boulevard, and when you reach North Stuart Street, park your bike at a nearby bike rack. The Ballston Historical Marker will be right at the intersection.
