If you are driving, start by getting onto the Dulles Toll Road (VA-267) from your current location. Follow signs for VA-267 E towards Washington D.C. After approximately 10 miles, take the exit for Reston Parkway. Continue on Reston Parkway for about 2 miles. Then, turn left onto Sunset Hills Road and continue for about half a mile. Finally, turn right onto Washington Plaza N. The Reston Museum will be on your left at 1639 Washington Plaza N, Reston, VA 20190.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take the Metro to Wiehle-Reston East Station on the Silver Line. From there, board the Fairfax Connector Bus 505 or 574 towards Reston Town Center. Get off at the Reston Town Center stop. Walk approximately 0.5 miles west along Sunset Hills Road, then turn left onto Washington Plaza N. The Reston Museum will be at 1639 Washington Plaza N, Reston, VA 20190. Please note that the bus fare is around $2.00.
