Getting There

• Walking

  From the Danville Museum of Fine Arts & History located at 975 Main St, Danville, VA 24541, head south on Main St toward the intersection with W. Church St. Continue walking straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with S. Boston Rd (US-29). Cross to the west side of S. Boston Rd. Continue walking on the sidewalk for another 0.3 miles. Look for the entrance to Dan Daniel Memorial Park on your right, just before the intersection with Piney Forest Rd.

• Public Transit

  If you are near the Danville Transit System bus stop at the Danville City Hall, catch the Route 1 bus heading toward the Danville Shopping Center. Ride for approximately 15 minutes and disembark at the stop closest to the Danville Shopping Center. From there, walk east along S. Boston Rd. for about 0.3 miles. Dan Daniel Memorial Park will be on your left, just past the intersection with Piney Forest Rd.

• Bicycling

  If you are renting a bike, start at the Danville Riverwalk Trail access point at the end of the River District. Cycle on the Riverwalk heading north until you reach the intersection with S. Boston Rd. Take a left onto S. Boston Rd and continue for about 0.5 miles. Look for the entrance to Dan Daniel Memorial Park on your left, just before you reach Piney Forest Rd.
