If you're traveling by car, start by getting onto I-64 W from your current location in Hampton Roads. Depending on where you are, you may take local roads to reach I-64. Once on I-64 W, continue for approximately 30 miles. Take exit 195B toward Broad St/US-33 W. After exiting, merge onto Broad St/US-33 W. Follow Broad St for about 5 miles, then turn left onto Battlefield Park Rd. Fort Harrison will be on your right at 8621 Battlefield Park Rd, Henrico, VA 23231. Be sure to check for parking availability upon arrival.
Public Transportation
For public transport, you can take a bus from various locations in Hampton Roads to get to Richmond, VA. Use the GRTC Transit System; routes may vary, so check their schedule for the best connections. You may need to transfer buses in Richmond. Once you arrive in Richmond, take the Route 1 bus towards the 'Broad & 3rd' stop. Once you reach Broad & 3rd, you can transfer to the Route 89 bus toward 'Chesterfield Towne Center.' Get off at the stop for Battlefield Park Rd. From there, it’s a short walk to Fort Harrison, located at 8621 Battlefield Park Rd, Henrico, VA 23231.
