If you are in downtown Lynchburg, start at the intersection of 9th Street and Main Street. Head north on 9th Street until you reach Church Street. Turn left onto Church Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with 5th Street. Turn right onto 5th Street and walk for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Jefferson Street. Turn left onto Jefferson Street and continue walking for another 0.5 miles. You will then see a sign for Ivy Creek Park on your right. Follow the signs to the entrance located at 118 Clemmons Lake Place.

From the downtown area, locate the nearest bus stop for the Greater Lynchburg Transit Company (GLTC). You can take Route 1, which heads towards the mall area. Request to get off at the stop nearest to Clemmons Lake Place. Once you disembark, you will need to walk a short distance along Clemmons Lake Place to reach the entrance of Ivy Creek Park at 118 Clemmons Lake Place.
