Walking
If you are starting from the Roanoke Civic Center, head northeast on 5th St SW toward Campbell Ave SW. Continue straight onto 5th St NW. After a few blocks, turn right onto Shenandoah Ave NE. Follow Shenandoah Ave NE for about half a mile, and the O. Winston Link & Roanoke History Museum will be on your left at 101 Shenandoah Ave NE.

From the Roanoke City Market, walk to the bus stop on Market St at Campbell Ave. Take the Valley Metro bus Route 22 toward the Roanoke Airport. Get off at the stop on 1st St NE at Shenandoah Ave NE. From there, walk north on 1st St NE, then turn left onto Shenandoah Ave NE. The museum will be just a short walk ahead on your right at 101 Shenandoah Ave NE.

If you prefer to bike, start from the Greenway Trail at the Roanoke River. Follow the trail until you reach the intersection with 4th St NW. Turn left and ride up 4th St NW until you reach Shenandoah Ave NE. Turn right on Shenandoah Ave NE, and continue for a few blocks. The O. Winston Link & Roanoke History Museum will be on your left at 101 Shenandoah Ave NE.
