If entering from the south, use the entrance at Rockfish Gap. Once you are on Skyline Drive, drive along the scenic route. Follow the signs for mile markers and look for Mile Marker 85. Bacon Hollow Overlook is located at this marker. You will see a designated parking area for visitors. Look for the overlook sign on your left side as you approach.

    Currently, public transportation options directly into Skyline Drive are limited. However, you can take a bus (e.g., from Charlottesville or Harrisonburg) to a nearby town such as Waynesboro. From there, you may need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to drive you into Skyline Drive.
