    From the center of Mount Rogers National Recreation Area, take US-58 West. Continue on US-58 for approximately 12 miles. Turn right onto VA-684 South (also known as Channels Drive). Follow VA-684 for about 5 miles until you reach the parking area for The Channels. Note that the parking lot is relatively small, so arrive early during peak seasons to secure a spot.
