  • Public Bus

    To reach Little Island Park from central Virginia Beach, start at the Virginia Beach Convention Center. Take the Hampton Roads Transit (HRT) Bus Route 20 towards Sandbridge. The bus stop is located on 19th Street near the convention center. Ride the bus for approximately 30 minutes, and get off at the Sandbridge Road at Sandpiper Road stop. From there, it's a short walk (about 0.5 miles) down Sandpiper Road to Little Island Park, which is located at 3820 Sandpiper Rd.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Virginia Beach. Start at the Virginia Beach Boardwalk and head south along the boardwalk until you reach 1st Street. Turn left and follow 1st Street to the intersection with Sandbridge Road. Continue on Sandbridge Road for approximately 6 miles until you reach the intersection with Sandpiper Road. Turn left onto Sandpiper Road, and Little Island Park will be on your left at 3820 Sandpiper Rd.
