The lighthouse is located within Fort Story, which is a military base, and you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles from the Oceanfront to reach the entrance of Fort Story where the lighthouse is located.

    If you have access to a bicycle, rent one from a nearby rental shop in Oceanfront. Head east on Atlantic Avenue, and follow the bike lanes until you reach the entrance of Fort Story. The ride will take around 10-15 minutes, but be mindful of traffic as you approach the entrance. Once you arrive, secure your bike and walk to the lighthouse at 583 Atlantic Ave.
