From the Oceanfront area, head east towards Atlantic Avenue and walk along the beachfront. Continue north on Atlantic Avenue until you reach 583 Atlantic Ave, Fort Story, VA 23459. The lighthouse is located within Fort Story, which is a military base, and you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles from the Oceanfront to reach the entrance of Fort Story where the lighthouse is located.

If you have access to a bicycle, rent one from a nearby rental shop in Oceanfront. Head east on Atlantic Avenue, and follow the bike lanes until you reach the entrance of Fort Story.
