Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Williamsburg Visitor Center located at 101 Visitor Center Drive. Head northeast on Visitor Center Drive towards Capitol Landing Road. Turn left onto Capitol Landing Road and continue until you reach the intersection with Route 60 (Pocahontas Trail). Turn right onto Route 60 and ride carefully along the bike lane. After approximately 1.5 miles, turn left onto Centerville Road. Freedom Park will be on your left at 5537 Centerville Rd. Follow the signs to the entrance.
Walking
To walk to Freedom Park from the Williamsburg Visitor Center, start by heading northeast on Visitor Center Drive. At the end of Visitor Center Drive, turn left onto Capitol Landing Road and walk until you reach the intersection with Route 60 (Pocahontas Trail). Cross Route 60 (use caution as it is a busy road) and continue straight onto Centerville Road. Walk approximately 1.5 miles along Centerville Road. Freedom Park will be on your left at 5537 Centerville Rd.
Public Transit
To reach Freedom Park via public transit, take the local bus service (WATA) from the Williamsburg Transit Center located at 4001 Ironbound Road. Board the bus that travels towards the Centerville area. You will need to check the current schedule as routes may vary. Get off at the nearest stop to Centerville Road and walk the remaining distance to Freedom Park at 5537 Centerville Rd, which should be about a 10-15 minute walk.
