Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're at the Colonial Williamsburg Visitor Center, exit the center and head south on Francis Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with South Henry Street. Turn left onto South Henry Street and walk until you reach the intersection with Duke of Gloucester Street. Turn right onto Duke of Gloucester Street and continue walking until you see the entrance to the Historic Area. Proceed into the Historic Area, and follow the path that leads you to the Palace Green. The George Wythe House is located at 101 Palace Green Street, directly across from the Governor's Palace.

    If you are at the Bruton Parish Church, exit the church and head east on Duke of Gloucester Street. Walk straight for a few blocks until you reach the Palace Green. Turn left and walk towards the Governor's Palace. The George Wythe House will be on your right at 101 Palace Green Street, just before you reach the Governor's Palace.
