Getting There

  • Public Bus

    From downtown Bellevue, walk to the Bellevue Transit Center located at 1100 110th Ave NE. Board Metro Bus 255 heading toward Seattle. Enjoy the scenic ride, which takes about 30 minutes. Get off at the Fremont Ave N & N 36th St stop in Seattle. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to the heart of Fremont. Head west on N 36th St toward Fremont Ave N, then turn right onto Fremont Ave N. Continue straight until you reach the area of Fremont.

  • Biking

    Rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing services available in Bellevue. Start from the Bellevue Downtown Park and head northwest on 4th St. Follow the bike lanes to the Bellevue-Redmond Connector Trail. Continue on the trail until you reach the Sammamish River Trail. Follow the trail north, crossing the river, until you reach Fremont Ave N. Turn left, and you'll be in the Fremont neighborhood after about a 40-minute ride.

    For the adventurous, walking to Fremont from downtown Bellevue is an option. Start at the Bellevue Downtown Park and walk west on NE 4th St. Cross over I-405 using the pedestrian bridge toward the Main Street area. Follow Main St north until you reach NE 12th St. Turn left onto NE 12th St, then take the next right onto 124th Ave NE, continuing until you reach the Sammamish River Trail. Follow the trail north until you reach Fremont. This walk will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, so wear comfortable shoes!
