Getting There

  • Bus

    From downtown Bellevue, walk to the Bellevue Transit Center located at 110 110th Ave NE. Take Bus 226 heading towards Seattle. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the stop at 15th Ave E & E Galer St. From there, walk north on 15th Ave E for about 5 minutes. Volunteer Park will be on your right at 1247 15th Ave E.

  • Light Rail

    Head to the Bellevue Transit Center and board the Link Light Rail towards Northgate. After about 20 minutes, transfer at the University of Washington Station. From there, catch Bus 49 towards the Capitol Hill area. Get off at the stop at 15th Ave E & E Galer St. Walk north on 15th Ave E for about 5 minutes, and you'll find Volunteer Park on your right at 1247 15th Ave E.

  • Walking

    If you're near downtown Bellevue, you can take a scenic walk to the park. Start by heading northwest on Bellevue Way NE, then turn left onto NE 4th St. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with 112th Ave NE, and turn right. Walk for about 15 minutes until you reach the transit center. From there, follow the bus instructions above.

From downtown Bellevue, follow the bike paths along 108th Ave NE heading north, then take the trail that leads toward the Eastside Rail Corridor. Continue until you reach the intersection of 15th Ave E & E Galer St. From there, it's a short ride to Volunteer Park located at 1247 15th Ave E.
