To reach Fort Ebey from Everett, start by taking the Community Transit bus route 201 from Everett Station. This bus will take you toward Mukilteo. When you reach Mukilteo, transfer to Sound Transit route 510 towards Seattle. Ride this bus until you reach the stop at the Mukilteo ferry terminal. From there, take the ferry to Clinton on Whidbey Island. Once you arrive at Clinton, board the Island Transit bus route 1 towards Coupeville. Get off at the Fort Ebey stop. Walk a short distance to Fort Ebey, which is located on Fort Ebey Rd.

For a scenic bike ride to Fort Ebey, start at the Everett waterfront and head south on the pedestrian path. You will need to follow Route 525 south toward Mukilteo. Once in Mukilteo, look for signs directing you to the ferry terminal. Take the ferry to Clinton, Whidbey Island. From the Clinton ferry terminal, continue biking north on Route 525 until you reach the intersection with Fort Ebey Rd. Turn left onto Fort Ebey Rd and follow it to the historical landmark.

If you prefer to walk, you can take the bus from Everett to the Mukilteo ferry terminal as described above. After taking the ferry to Clinton, you will need to walk approximately 4 miles. From the Clinton terminal, head north on Route 525. When you reach the intersection with Fort Ebey Rd, turn left and continue walking until you arrive at Fort Ebey.
