From Federal Way Transit Center, take the Sound Transit bus route 586 heading towards Seattle. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes and get off at the West Seattle Junction stop. From there, transfer to Metro Bus route 50 towards Alki Beach. Ride the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the Alki Ave SW & 63rd Ave SW stop. Walk west on Alki Ave SW for about 5 minutes to reach the Alki Trail.

Continue onto S 348th St and follow it until you reach Pacific Hwy S. Cross the highway and make your way to the bus stop for Sound Transit route 586. Once you board the bus, follow the previously mentioned directions to reach the Alki Trail.
