Bus
From Federal Way, head to the Federal Way Transit Center. Take the Sound Transit bus route 586 towards Seattle. The bus will take you directly to the downtown Seattle area. After approximately 35-40 minutes, get off at the stop near 5th Ave and Pike St. From there, walk to the Pike Place Market area, where you can catch the Seattle Center Monorail.
