Public Transit
From Federal Way, walk to the Federal Way Transit Center located at 31620 Pete von Reichbauer Way S. Catch the Sound Transit bus route 586 heading towards Seattle. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Seattle bus terminal, transfer to the Link Light Rail heading north. Get off at the University Street Station. From the station, exit and walk approximately 5 minutes to the Seattle Symphony located at 200 University St.
Walking
If you are near the Downtown Federal Way area, you can take a scenic walk to the Federal Way Transit Center to start your journey. Once there, follow the same transit instructions as above. Walking to the transit center is about a 15-20 minute walk depending on your starting point.
Bicycle
For those who prefer biking, you can ride your bike from Federal Way to Seattle. Take the Interurban Trail north, which connects to the Green River Trail. Continue on this trail until you reach the south end of the Seattle waterfront. From there, head east towards 200 University St. Please note that biking in urban areas can be challenging, so use bike lanes and be cautious.
