    Bus

    From Kirkland, head to the nearest bus stop at Kirkland Transit Center located at 10603 108th Ave NE. Take Bus 252 towards the Silverdale Transit Center. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach the Port Gamble stop. Once you get off, walk straight ahead on Washington Ave for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at Port Gamble.

    Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from a local shop in Kirkland. Start your journey by heading north on Lake Washington Blvd NE. Continue until you reach the intersection with NE 70th St, then turn left. Follow the road until it merges with WA-104. After about 7 miles, turn left onto Port Gamble Rd NE. Continue straight until you reach Port Gamble. The entire ride should take approximately 45 minutes.

    Walking

    For the adventurous, you can walk to Port Gamble. Start at the Kirkland waterfront and head north on Lake Washington Blvd NE. Follow the shoreline until you reach the Kirkland Marina. From there, take the path that leads to Juanita Bay Park. Continue along the trails through the park and head toward the east side. Ultimately, you will need to follow the roads leading north. It is a long walk, approximately 15 miles, so ensure you are prepared with water and good walking shoes.
