    Getting There

    Bus

    From Lynnwood Transit Center, take the Sound Transit bus route 511 towards Seattle. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the stop at 3rd Ave & Pine St. Transfer to the Metro bus route 50 towards West Seattle. Ride for about 20 minutes and get off at the stop at Alki Beach. From there, walk west along Alki Ave SW to reach the Alki Trail.

    Light Rail and Bus

    Start at Lynnwood Transit Center and take the Sound Transit Link Light Rail towards Angle Lake. Get off at the Westlake Station after about 30 minutes. Transfer to the Metro bus route 773 towards West Seattle. Ride for approximately 15 minutes and get off at the Alki Beach stop. Walk west along Alki Ave SW to find the Alki Trail.

    Walking

    If you are staying in the Lynnwood area and want to explore on foot, you can enjoy a long walk. Head south on 196th St SW, then turn left onto 44th Ave W. Continue until you reach 212th St SW, then follow the road until you reach Highway 99. Head south along Highway 99 until you find a bus stop. From there, take a bus heading towards Seattle and follow the bus directions to Alki Beach.

    Biking

    If you are up for a bike ride, rent a bike from a local rental shop in Lynnwood. Head south on 196th St SW and connect to the Interurban Trail, which takes you towards Seattle. The ride will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you reach the Duwamish River, follow the signs towards Alki Beach where you will find the Alki Trail.
