From Interstate 90, take Exit 34 for North Bend. Turn onto North Bend Way and follow it until you reach SE 436th St. Turn right onto SE 436th St and continue onto SE 140th St. After approximately 2 miles, turn left onto SE Lake Dorothy Rd. Follow this road for about 1.5 miles; the Lower Mailbox Peak Trailhead will be on your left side at the intersection of SE Lake Dorothy Rd.

The closest bus stop is at North Bend Way & 3rd St. From there, you will need to hike approximately 2.5 miles along SE 436th St and SE 140th St, heading towards SE Lake Dorothy Rd. Once you reach SE Lake Dorothy Rd, turn left and walk for about 1.5 miles to the Lower Mailbox Peak Trailhead, which will be on your left.
