From downtown Redmond, walk to the nearest bus stop located at Redmond Town Center. Catch the Metro Bus Route 542 towards Seattle. Ride the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the stop for Port Gamble. Once you get off the bus, walk towards the waterfront, and you will find Port Gamble, which is a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, start from downtown Redmond and head west on NE 83rd Street. Continue on this road until you reach the Sammamish River Trail. Follow the trail north until you reach the junction with the Slough Trail. Turn onto the Slough Trail and continue until you reach Port Gamble. The total biking distance is about 15 miles, so make sure to plan for a leisurely ride and enjoy the scenic views along the way.
Walking
If you are feeling adventurous and want to walk, start from downtown Redmond and head northwest on 166th Ave NE. Continue straight until you reach NE 85th St. Turn left and follow NE 85th St until you reach the entrance of the Sammamish River Trail. Walk along the trail heading north for about 6 miles until you reach the junction with the Slough Trail. Follow the Slough Trail towards Port Gamble. This walk will take you around 3 hours, so wear comfortable shoes and bring some water.
