Bus
From Renton, head to the nearest bus stop to catch King County Metro Bus Route 101 or 106 towards Seattle. You will want to get off at the 'Northgate Transit Center' after approximately 25-30 minutes. From there, transfer to Bus Route 5 towards Shoreline and ride for about 20 minutes until you reach the 'Fremont' stop. Once you get off, walk east on North 36th Street for a short distance, and you will find the Fremont Troll at the corner of North 36th Street and Troll Ave N.
Light Rail and Bus
Take the Sound Transit Link Light Rail from Renton Station heading towards Northgate. After about 20 minutes, get off at the 'University of Washington' station. From there, transfer to Metro Bus Route 31 towards Ballard. Ride for approximately 20 minutes until you arrive at the 'Fremont' stop. Walk east on North 36th Street for a short distance, and you will see the Fremont Troll at the intersection of North 36th Street and Troll Ave N.
Walking
If you are staying in central Renton and prefer to walk, start your journey by heading north towards Rainier Ave S. Follow Rainier Ave S until you reach the intersection with S 2nd St, then continue walking north. This route will take you approximately 3 miles and will take around 1 hour. Make sure to follow the signs directing you towards Seattle, and eventually, you will reach the Fremont neighborhood. Once you arrive, look for North 36th Street where you will find the Fremont Troll at the corner of North 36th Street and Troll Ave N.
