    From downtown Renton, walk to the Renton Transit Center, located at 200 Mill Ave S. Take the Metro Bus Route 556 towards Issaquah. Stay on the bus for approximately 25 minutes. Get off at the 'Issaquah Highlands Park & Ride' stop. From there, transfer to Bus Route 200 towards Issaquah. Ride for about 10 minutes and get off at 'Tiger Mountain Trailhead' stop. Walk a short distance to reach the trail entrance.

    Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from a local bike shop in Renton. Head east on SE 4th St towards E Valley Rd. Turn left onto E Valley Rd and follow it for about 3 miles. Turn right onto 228th Ave SE and continue until you reach SE 56th St. Follow SE 56th St until you see signs for Tiger Mountain Trail. The trailhead will be on your right.

    Walking

    If you are feeling adventurous and would like to walk, start from the Renton Library located at 1000 S 2nd St. Walk east on S 2nd St towards Wells Ave S. Turn left onto Wells Ave S and continue until you reach SE 4th St. From SE 4th St, head east and take a right onto E Valley Rd. Follow this road for about 5 miles up to Tiger Mountain. Note that this is a long walk, so prepare accordingly!
