If you're traveling by car, start from anywhere in Central Washington and make your way to Interstate 90 (I-90). Take Exit 15 for Front St N toward Issaquah. Follow Front St N, which becomes Newport Way NW, and then turn left onto SE 43rd Way. Continue straight, and you'll reach the Poo Poo Point Trailhead parking lot at 47.4995222, -122.0085889. There is no fee for parking, but the lot can fill up quickly, so arriving early is recommended.
Public Transportation
To reach Poo Poo Point via public transportation, you can take a bus from Seattle or other locations in Central Washington to Issaquah. Check King County Metro Transit for the latest schedules and routes. Once you arrive at the Issaquah Transit Center, you may need to use a rideshare service or taxi to reach the trailhead, as it is about a 3-mile distance from the transit center. Be prepared for a cost of approximately $10-$20 for the rideshare.
Hiking
Once you arrive at the Poo Poo Point Trailhead, you will need to hike approximately 3 miles up the trail to reach the viewpoint. The trail is well-marked and moderately steep, taking around 1.5 to 2 hours to reach the top. Make sure to wear appropriate hiking shoes and bring water. The trail is open daily from 6 AM to 9 PM (and until 9:30 PM on Saturdays), so plan your hike accordingly to enjoy the beautiful views at the top.
