If you are in downtown Richland, start at the Richland Public Library located at 955 Northgate Dr, Richland, WA 99352. From the library, head south on George Washington Way. Continue walking straight for about half a mile until you reach John Dam Plaza, which is located at 815 George Washington Way. The plaza will be on your right, right before you reach the intersection with Columbia Park Trail.

Check for the nearest bus stop serving the local transit system. If you're near the Richland Transit Center at 1500 George Washington Way, take Bus Route 18 towards the Columbia Center Mall. Get off at the stop at the intersection of George Washington Way and Columbia Park Trail. From there, it's a short walk south to John Dam Plaza at 815 George Washington Way. Follow the pathway leading towards the river, and you'll find the plaza.

If you have access to a bike, you can start from the Riverfront Trail. Head east along the trail until you reach the point where it intersects with George Washington Way. Turn left onto George Washington Way and continue for about a quarter-mile. John Dam Plaza will be on your right at 815 George Washington Way.
