Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Pike Place Market, head towards the main entrance of the market at Pike Street. Proceed straight through the market, taking your time to enjoy the various vendors and sights. Once you reach the end of the market, turn right onto 1st Avenue. Walk along 1st Avenue until you see Post Alley on your left. The entrance to Post Alley is just before you reach the famous Gum Wall, which is located at the southern end of the alley.

    If you are coming from Seattle Center, take Bus 2 or Bus 13 from the Seattle Center Monorail station. Ride the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the 3rd Ave & Pike St stop. From there, walk towards Pike Place Market by heading down Pike Street. Enter the market and continue straight until you reach the end, then turn right onto 1st Avenue. Post Alley will be on your left before reaching the Gum Wall.

    If you are arriving via the Link Light Rail, get off at the University Street Station. From the station, head west towards 3rd Avenue. Turn left onto 3rd Avenue and walk south until you reach Pike Street. Turn right onto Pike Street and walk towards Pike Place Market.
