If you are driving from Snoqualmie Pass, start by heading west on I-90. Take exit 34 for North Bend and merge onto WA-202 S. Continue on WA-202 S for approximately 4.5 miles. When you reach the intersection with North Bend Way, turn left. After about 1 mile, turn right onto SE 8th St, which becomes the Mount Si Trailhead parking area. Park your car here, as parking is free. The trailhead is well marked and you will begin your hike from there.
Hiking
From the Mount Si Trailhead parking area, begin your hike on the Mount Si Trail. The trail is roughly 8 miles round trip and takes around 4-6 hours depending on your pace. Follow the trail as it ascends through the forest. After about 1.5 miles, you will reach a junction; continue straight to Dirty Harry's Balcony. Keep an eye out for trail signs and markers to guide you. The last stretch can be steep, but the views from Dirty Harry's Balcony are well worth the effort.

Once you arrive in North Bend, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to the Mount Si Trailhead (approximately 5 miles away).
