Start by heading to the nearest Spokane Transit Authority bus stop. If you are near downtown Spokane, catch the bus number 90 or 25 from the Spokane Transit Center. The bus will take you towards Spokane Valley. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes, and get off at the stop at Sprague Ave & University Rd. From the bus stop, walk east along Sprague Ave for approximately 0.2 miles (about a 4-minute walk). The Spokane Valley Heritage Museum will be on your right at 12114 E Sprague Ave.

If you prefer to bike, rent a bike from a nearby rental shop. From downtown Spokane, head east on Riverside Ave until you reach the Centennial Trail. Follow the trail eastbound for about 6 miles, which will take you towards the Spokane Valley area. As you approach Sprague Ave, exit the trail and ride along Sprague Ave heading east. Continue until you reach 12114 E Sprague Ave, which will be on your right.
