Getting There

• Walking

  From the heart of Downtown Spokane, head north on N Howard St towards W Riverside Ave. Turn right onto W Riverside Ave and walk for about 0.5 miles. As you approach the Spokane River, you will see a sign for Spokane Falls. Continue walking along the path that leads you towards the falls. The Upper Falls will be visible from the park area along W North River Dr. This route is approximately a 10-15 minute walk, depending on your pace.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  If you prefer to take public transport, you can catch the Spokane Transit Authority bus from any downtown stop. Look for bus routes that head towards the Riverfront Park area, specifically routes 60 or 64. Board the bus and pay the fare, which is typically $2.00 for a single ride. Get off at the Riverfront Park stop. From there, follow the signs leading to Spokane Falls, which is a short walk of about 5 minutes. Make sure to check the current bus schedules as they can vary.

• Bicycle

  If you enjoy biking, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local bike rental shops in Downtown Spokane. Once you have your bike, head north on N Howard St and then east on W Riverside Ave. Follow the bike path along the Spokane River, which will take you directly to Spokane Falls. The ride is scenic and will take approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on your cycling speed. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow all bike safety rules.
