If you are starting from the Spokane Convention Center, head south on Howard Street towards Riverside Avenue. Turn left onto Riverside Avenue and continue walking until you reach the entrance of Riverfront Park. Once inside the park, follow the pathways that lead towards the Spokane River. You will see signs directing you to the river's edge, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the Convention Center.

From downtown Spokane, locate the nearest bus stop and take the Spokane Transit Authority (STA) Bus Route 25 towards the South Hill. Get off at the stop near Riverfront Park, which is located at 507 N Howard St. Once you disembark, walk towards the park entrance and follow the paths that lead you to the Spokane River. This trip will take approximately 15-20 minutes, including waiting time for the bus.

If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in downtown Spokane. Head towards the Centennial Trail, which runs along the Spokane River. Follow the trail heading north or south depending on your starting point in downtown. The scenic route will lead you directly to several access points along the river, and it typically takes around 20 minutes to reach the river from downtown.
