Walking
From Riverside, head west on Riverside Ave. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Howard St. Turn left onto Howard St and proceed south. After about 0.5 miles, you'll reach W 1st Ave. Turn right onto W 1st Ave and continue until you reach S Howard St. Here, you will find a bus stop for Spokane Transit Authority.
Public Bus
At the bus stop on S Howard St, board the 'Green Line' bus. This bus will take you towards the Sunset Hill area. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the next departure. The fare for a one-way trip is approximately $2.50, which can be paid with cash or a transit card. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach the stop at W Woodland Blvd.
Walking
After getting off at the W Woodland Blvd stop, walk east for a short distance until you reach the entrance of John A. Finch Arboretum, located at 3404 W Woodland Blvd. The arboretum should be directly visible on your right side. The entire walking distance from the bus stop to the arboretum is around 0.2 miles.
