If you're driving from Twisp, WA, head northwest on WA-20 W for approximately 1.5 miles. Turn left onto Twisp River Road (Forest Road 43) and continue for about 5 miles. The Twisp River Trail Trailhead will be on your left. There is no fee to park at the trailhead.
Public Transportation
If you're using public transportation, take the bus service that operates in the Methow Valley. Check the schedule for the nearest stop to Twisp. Once you arrive in Twisp, you may need to arrange a taxi or rideshare service to get to Twisp River Road, as public transit may not reach the trailhead directly.
Bicycle
For those who prefer a more active approach, consider biking from Twisp. Follow the same route as if driving: head northwest on WA-20 W, then take a left onto Twisp River Road. It’s roughly a 7-mile ride to the trailhead, so ensure you are prepared for the distance and terrain.
Hiking
If you are staying nearby and want to hike to the trailhead, start from Twisp and take the Twisp River Road on foot. This approach allows you to enjoy the scenery, but be aware it's about a 5-mile hike to the trailhead. Plan accordingly!
