Car
If you're traveling by car within The Selkirk Mountains, start by heading towards the nearest major road that connects to SR-20 or SR-31. If you're coming from the north, take SR-20 south until you merge onto I-5 S towards Seattle. After around 45 miles, take exit 152A to merge onto WA-167 S towards Auburn. Continue on WA-167 S for approximately 20 miles. Take exit 24 for S 272nd St, and keep right at the fork to continue on S 272nd St. Then turn left onto S 237th Pl. The Neely-Soames Historic Homestead will be located at 5311 S 237th Pl, Kent, WA 98032, on your right.

If you prefer public transportation, first locate the nearest bus station within The Selkirk Mountains that services the Sound Transit or Metro Transit routes. You will likely need to take a bus to the Federal Way Transit Center. From there, transfer to Bus Route 186 heading to Kent Station. Once you arrive at Kent Station, you can either walk or take a short taxi ride. Walking will take approximately 30 minutes; head east on W Meeker St, continue to S 237th Pl and turn right. The Neely-Soames Historic Homestead is at 5311 S 237th Pl, Kent, WA 98032.
