If you're starting from the Fairmont State University campus, exit the campus and head southeast on University Avenue. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with 3rd Street. Turn left onto 3rd Street and walk until you reach Adams Street. Turn right onto Adams Street, and the Marion County Historical Museum will be located on your left at 211 Adams St.

From the Fairmont Town Centre, you can catch the local bus (check for the nearest bus stop). Take the bus toward the downtown area. Get off at the stop closest to the intersection of Adams Street and 3rd Street. From there, walk south on Adams Street for two blocks and you will see the Marion County Historical Museum at 211 Adams St.

If you have access to a bike, start at the Fairmont Riverfront Park. Head north along the riverside bike path, then exit onto 3rd Street. Follow 3rd Street until you reach Adams Street, then turn right. Continue straight for a couple of blocks and the Marion County Historical Museum will be on your left at 211 Adams St.
