From Fairmont, head to the Fairmont Bus Station located at 200 Adams Street. Take the Greyhound bus heading towards Morgantown. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Morgantown Bus Station, exit and walk towards the nearby intersection of Pleasant Street and University Avenue. Continue straight on University Avenue until you reach the intersection with Waterfront Place. Turn left onto Waterfront Place and walk for about 5 minutes until you see the WVU Downtown Visitors Center at 1 Waterfront Place, First Floor on your left.

If you're near the downtown area of Fairmont, start at the Marion County Courthouse located at 200 Jackson Street. From there, head southwest on Jackson Street towards 1st Street. Turn right onto 1st Street and continue for about 0.5 miles. You will reach the intersection with US-250 (Fairmont Avenue). Cross the street and follow US-250 to the north for approximately 1 mile until you reach the Morgantown city line. Continue straight as it transforms into University Avenue. Walk for about 1 mile and turn right onto Waterfront Place. The WVU Downtown Visitors Center will be on your right after a short walk.
