If you are traveling by car within the Hatfield-McCoy Mountains area, head east on Route 52 from any location in the mountains until you reach the intersection with Route 80. Turn right onto Route 80 and continue driving for approximately 10 miles until you reach the town of Panther. Once in Panther, take a left onto Ostenaco Road. Panther State Forest is located at 239 Ostenaco Rd, Panther, WV 24872. Follow Ostenaco Road until you see the entrance to the forest on your right.
