If you're starting in downtown Martinsburg, head to the nearest bus stop. Look for the Eastern Panhandle Transit Authority (EPTA) bus that services the area. You will need to take the bus that heads towards the north side of Martinsburg. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes until you reach the stop near Poor House Road. Once you disembark, walk along Poor House Road for about 10 minutes; the park entrance will be on your left.

From central Martinsburg, you can rent a bicycle from a local vendor. Take East King Street heading east until you reach the intersection with North Queen Street. Turn left on North Queen Street and continue on it until you reach the intersection with Poor House Road. Turn right on Poor House Road, and after about a mile, you will see Poor House Farm Park on your right. Please be cautious of traffic and use bike lanes where available.

If you prefer walking, start from the downtown area. Walk north on North Queen Street until you reach the intersection with Poor House Road. Turn left on Poor House Road and walk straight for about 1.5 miles. You will cross a few smaller roads along the way.
