Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from downtown Eau Claire. Head south on S Barstow St toward E Grand Ave. Continue straight onto S Hastings Way (US-53). After about 2.5 miles, take the exit toward WI-312 E. Merge onto WI-312 E and continue for approximately 2.5 miles. Take the exit for S Lowes Creek Rd. Turn right onto S Lowes Creek Rd. The park entrance will be on your left at 5238 S Lowes Creek Rd, Eau Claire, WI 54701. Note: There is an entrance fee of $5 per day or $30 for an annual pass.

• Public Transportation

  If you are using public transportation, take the Eau Claire Transit bus service. Board a bus that heads towards the South Side, such as Route 1 or Route 5. Get off at the nearest stop to the connection point on S Hastings Way. From there, you will need to use a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft to reach Lowes Creek County Park. The approximate cost for the rideshare from the bus stop to the park is around $10, depending on traffic.

• Bicycle

  For those who enjoy cycling, you can ride your bike from downtown Eau Claire. Follow the bike paths south along the Chippewa River and connect to the bike lanes on S Hastings Way. After about 3 miles, take the exit towards WI-312 E, and then turn onto S Lowes Creek Rd. The park is approximately another mile down the road. Ensure you wear a helmet and follow traffic rules. • Walking

  Walking to Lowes Creek County Park is not practical given the distance from downtown Eau Claire (around 5 miles). However, if you are staying nearby, head south on S Barstow St, then follow the same route as for cars. It may take over an hour to walk, so plan accordingly.
