Bicycle
If you're in the town of Fish Creek, you can start your ride at the Fish Creek Park. Head north on Highway 42, enjoying the scenic views. After about 5 miles, turn left onto County Road E. Continue on County Road E for about 3 miles until you reach Ellison Bay. As you enter the town, look for Door Bluff Park Road on your right. Follow Door Bluff Park Road for about 1.5 miles until you reach the parking area for Door Bluff Headlands County Park.
Walking
From Ellison Bay, locate the intersection of Highway 42 and Door Bluff Park Road. Begin walking north on Door Bluff Park Road. It is about a 1.5-mile walk to the park entrance. The road is relatively quiet, and you will pass by charming residential areas and beautiful landscapes. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, as the terrain may vary.
Public Transport (Shuttle Service)
Check with local shuttle services that operate in Door County, such as Door County Trolley, which may offer routes to Ellison Bay. You can board the trolley at popular locations like Fish Creek or Sister Bay. Confirm the schedule for the shuttle heading towards Door Bluff Headlands County Park, and disembark at the closest stop to Door Bluff Park Road. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk down Door Bluff Park Road to the park entrance.
