From the center of La Crosse, head southwest on 3rd St S toward Cass St. Turn left onto Cass St, and then take a right onto Main St. Continue on Main St and merge onto US-53 S/US-61 S. Follow US-53 S for about 1.5 miles. Take the exit for WI-16 E, and merge onto WI-16 E. Continue on this road for approximately 4 miles. Turn left onto Old Quarry Rd. The Lower Hixon Trailhead will be on your right at 2600 Old Quarry Rd. Parking is available at the trailhead.
